Ray has more than 37 years experience as a practising solicitor and specialises in Family Law, Conveyancing, Wills and Estates.
Ray firmly believes that going to court is not the only way to resolve disputes and has completed a Master of Dispute Resolution post graduate degree. He is also qualified conduct mediations.
He is admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and also has a Master of Law degree (UTS).
Ray’s extensive knowledge and experience is put to good use where for many years he has been a lecturer at the College of Law. The College of Law is where law graduates are required to complete a course in Practical Legal Training before becoming solicitors. Ray is also the Co-Ordinator of the Master of Applied Family Degree conducted by the College of Law. THis is a post graduate program where Ray teaches Solicitors who want to specialise in Family Law.
Ray is also on the Advisory Committee with the Law Society of New South Wales for Specialist Accreditation in Family Law.
Ray is a keen runner and on most Sunday mornings he will be at the start of some race around the state of interstate. He races over various distances but his favourite distance is the 42.2 kilometres of the marathon. He has presently completed 100 marathons but that increases at the rate of about 8 a year.
Ray is also collects and restores fountain pens and has an extensive collection of pens and in particular those made by Parker between 1924 to 1932.
